This book is primarily aimed as a textbook of quantitative techniques for management students and has been written specially keeping the `Quantitative Analysis` course of the Gujarat Technical University (GTU) as a guideline. The book focuses on management application of statistical tools. It contains over 300 examples and an attempt has been made to present statistical concepts in a manner that can be easily comprehended. Caselets have been provided at the end of almost all chapters to facilitate classroom discussions. In addition, step-by-step EXCEL guides have been incorporated wherever relevant and necessary. It is hoped that this would familiarise the students in applying statistical techniques by using computer software.
