This book is primarily designed for the teachers of HR in various management Institutes, the trainers in the corporate companies and students of management. The Purpose of writing this book is to clarify the misconceptions prevailing in the use of HRD instruments. There are two basic components of the individual to be assessed, the ability and the personality. The third component which receives prominence these days is the emotional intelligence. Misunderstandings do prevail among the three concepts viz measurement, evaluation and assessment. A rich content is provided in the discussion and interpretations of the findings and the most important is that the learner is actively involved and engrossed. Another advantage of this method is that of the group activity, wherein the facts of group dynamics can be explored. The author has tried to include a limited number of HRD instruments. .
