N2  - This paper attempts to investigate gender differences with regard to the Subjective Well-Being (commonly abbreviated as SWB) among male and female employees in the IT industry. The sample from the IT industry comprised 214 people, out of which 125 were males and 89 were females. SWB was measured using three dimensions: life satisfaction, positive affect, and negative affect. Following data collection, significant differences regarding SWB were examined using t-test. The findings indicated significant differences in exhibiting most of the facets of SWB between the two groups. These insights can be used for improving the level of SWB among male and female employees in the IT industry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
