WaSH is referred to as the arrangement of technical and human development. It helps produce a healthy school environment and protects school children from illnesses. Its fundamental parameters are enhancement of school education and reduction in student drop-out in schools. It facilitates proper learning atmosphere in schools. Water, sanitation, and hygienic facilities are an important factor for formulating a healthy environment in schools, and it can effectively increase student enrollment, especially of girls.
