520 | _aWork values describe the aspects desirable at work. These encompass the preference of employees at work influenced by individual and social contexts. Although a lot has been talked about work values earlier, this study evaluates its relevance in today's digital era. Digitalization has brought in dynamism in today's business world, giving a new meaning to work-related attributes. This has caused new challenges to emerge, demanding colossal changes at workplace. Aspects such as empowerment, job security, congenial working environment, and accomplishment have replaced the traditional beliefs. Taking a sample of 150 employees from leading Information Technology (IT) organizations in India, this study attempts to establish the trends of work values across demographic variables of gender, age, educational qualifications and marital status.
